Digital Asset Firm AUTOMATA France Deregistered by AMF for Providing Unlicensed Crowdfunding Services


AUTOMATA France SASworking through vancelian.comRegulatory approval revoked by France Financial Markets Authority (AMF). According to the AMF, AUTOMATA was the target of an enforcement action because the platform conducted crowdfunding activities without mandatory approvals. Additionally, the AMF states that management and shareholders have failed to fulfill their obligations “in terms of good reputation and competence”.

AUTOMATA operates under a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) license.

As of June 30, 2026, AUTOMATA must announce to the public that it has withdrawn its registration and terminated its activities.

AMF stated that it is in regular communication with AUTOMATA teams to ensure that their activities are effectively shut down while protecting customers’ interests.

Vancelian published a notice on its homepage stating that it had stopped pursuing the MiCA license, the EU-wide crypto rules, but would reapply if possible.

Vancelian reported assets under management at over €100 million. The platform has also recently introduced options such as real estate investment, where funds and savings from villas in Bali are offered at a rate of return of 6.44%.

In December 2025, Vancelian reported that it had received approval in principle under Dubai’s Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority (VARA).
