Franklin Templeton, a global investment management organization, has taken a major step towards expanding its crypto investment platform.
According to the official X account, the company Franklin Crypto. The company designed this unit as a “private, institutional-grade crypto investment management” platform.
The firm is now expanding its horizons even further, with plans to acquire 250 Digital and “liquid cryptocurrency strategies” managed by CoinFund.

What is the action plan?
Franklin Templeton plans to use “tokenized registered securities” in the settlement process rather than relying on traditional systems. The firm is taking another step towards “performing on-chain mergers and acquisitions” using blockchain-based tokens.
Additionally, with the help of BENJI tokens, the firm aims to bridge traditional and digital asset classes. However, whether such an M&A is market ready is still debatable.
At the same time, Franklin Crypto seeks to solve the challenges facing its global clients by helping them navigate the complex and rapidly evolving digital asset class.
