Online investment platform Angel List added agency artificial intelligence to its platform. According to AngelList CEO’s post about X, “You can now talk to your fund from Claude, ChatGPT and Codex. Access financial information, documents, capital calls, distributions and more. To make this work seamlessly, we’ve upgraded the vast majority of our 25,000+ Funds, SPVs and Collective Vehicles to receive daily financial information.”
“AngelList Link” is described as a way to turn your fund into something you can talk about.
AngelList Link is currently only available to GPs, but we expect LPs to gain access to advanced AI features in the near future.
The first iteration is “read-only,” but future versions will enable actions initiated by the AI agent.
Artificial intelligence is amazing, but everyone actually knows that agents get things wrong all too often. AngelList says you can ask a representative to verify an answer and it will query the underlying source document.
There are over $200 billion in assets on AngelList, including more than 25,000 funds and SPVs. AngelList reports that more than 72,000 investors and more than 13,000 startups have raised growth capital.
AngelList was the first platform to issue a no-action letter to list Reg D 506(c) securities offerings online, thus paving the way for everyone else. The platform continues to add new features and services, simplifying access to capital, asset management and special offers. The company describes itself as a “financial system for private markets.”
