Securities and Exchange Commission, Small Business Capital Formation Advisory Committee (SBCFAC) is scheduled to meet again on April 28. The meeting will be broadcast live and announced to the public.
At the last SBCFAC meeting in February, the group discussed topics such as Finders and secondary markets in private securities.
With respect to Finders, the Committee voted to adopt principles that will guide the SEC in establishing new rules to enable Finders to match investors with early-stage companies.
The goal is to “keep it simple” and be accessible without limiting it to professionals.
The committee recommended that a statement be made that includes remuneration or compensation.
You can expect final recommendations for Finders at the April meeting.
A full agenda should be prepared next month.
